ATTENTION
ALL MEMBERS
It
is time for all members to renew for the 2010 season. The Board voted to change
Membership to a December 31st, Annual Renewal process and therefore, ALL current members MUST renew and have a December 31,
2010 expiration date. (No exceptions.) All Dues must be turned in by
December 31st, 2009 or your membership payment will be considered
late and you run the risk of being dropped as a Member.
Just
a reminder - it does not matter what your current
renewal date shows, ALL memberships must expire DECEMBER 31, 2010.
FAQ’S:
My membership expires in May or June of
2010. What do I need to do to become current?
While
you may believe your Membership is current - it is not - simply because we are
converting to a 12/31/2010 renewal date for the entire Membership.
Therefore,
you must pay the club ½ year worth of Dues to become current to December 31,
2010.
My family members do not have membership
cards to prove they are members.
You need to complete a Change Form at the office with the
manager to add your family member’s name, relation, and birth date to your
Membership and once processed, your family members will receive their own
Membership Card.
I still have a white Pikes Peak Gun Club
membership card that is still current. Is this card valid?
No,
the white gun club card is no longer valid. You MUST have a green IWLA Membership
Card that has December 31, 2010 expiration with a Membership # on it. If you do not have a green IWLA Membership
Card, you need to fill out a “New Member” form at the club and pay the current
dues.
Why did I receive a renewal notice that
expired in December 31, 2009?
This
was to bring the member current to the 2009 year. In addition, you will, or
already have, received another renewal notice to pay the Dues to bring you
current to the 2010 year. (This only involved about 200 members)
What is an MDR?
That
is the membership director of our gun club. This is an elected position on our
board and he or she is the liaison between Izaak Walton League of America and
the Pikes Peak Gun Club. This position is responsible for receiving member dues
and paying IWLA chapter and state dues. (Better known as the membership
secretary)
Again
we ask for everyone’s patience as this transformation has been quite difficult.
Once completed our January through December once-a-year renewal will be much
better to manage for future MDR’S. Thanks for all of the understanding and if
you have any questions please email the MDR at budwine@mountainstatesdiesel.com.
HAVE A GREAT YEAR SHOOTING.
