Do you want to have fun?

Do you want to improve your wing shooting?

Join us for the spring skeet league.  What better way to turn money into noise?

League starts Saturday, April 3rd and continues for 8 weeks thru May 22nd.  Week 2 and week 5 we will shoot Sunday afternoon to avoid a conflict with the previously scheduled NSSA skeet shoots.

This is a low key league.  Goal number one is to have fun with fellow skeet shooters.

If you are interested take a look at the rules.

We will have optional team competition this spring.

You can sign up the same day you start shooting.

Rules

Fee:   Members $12.00 per week.  $96.00 for 8 weeks.

          Non-members $17.00 per week.  $136.00 for 8 weeks.

When:  Saturday mornings 9:00 AM and later. League starts April 3rd and ends May 22nd.  It is encouraged that you shoot Saturdays but not mandatory.  You can shoot on any day that will fit your schedule.  You can shoot two weeks ahead or makeup one week if needed for vacation conflicts.  All scores must be submitted by 6:00 PM on Saturday May 22nd.  Note:  Week 2 and week 5 we will shoot Sunday afternoon to avoid a conflict with previously scheduled NSSA shoots.

Where:  Use any open skeet field.

Categories:  If participation is sufficient we will create two or more categories based on the scores from the first two weeks.  In addition, if you would like I can keep track of a sub-gauge category (28 ga and .410).  Please mark your score sheet with a sub-gauge if you would like to compete against other sub-gauge shooters.  Ex:  Bill Willhoit, 28 ga.  I will assume you are shooting 12 ga or 20 ga unless your score sheet indicates sub-gauge (28 or .410).

Teams:  New this spring.  There will also be a team competition with three persons on each team.  Team members do not have to shoot on the same day.  Each participant will be scored in the individual classification in addition to their team.  There is no additional fee nor does a shooter have to be on a team.

Score sheets:  Please use the score sheets for skeet league that will be available from the manager.  Print your name, the date and the league week you are shooting on each sheet (league weeks are marked on the calendar at the club).

E-mail:  Please furnish your email address.  I will send you updated league standings weekly.

Prizes, trophies, banquets:  None.  This is our recession, low fat league.  Your $12.00 per week fee covers 50 targets per week, all of the record keeping, a small profit for the club and certificates for the top three in each category.  Bragging rights and good fun are included at no additional charge.
